1. Acceptance of Terms & Who We Are
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of vipsych.com (the “Site”), operated by Vivian Imo Psychiatry LLC, doing business as VIPsychiatry (“VIPsychiatry,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site, requesting an appointment, or submitting a form, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
VIPsychiatry provides outpatient psychiatric care for adults age 18 and older, delivered by Vivian Imo, DNP, PMHNP, a licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner (referred to on the Site as “Dr. Imo,” reflecting her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, not a medical doctor license). Our office is located at 1412 Crain Highway North, Suite 6B, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
2. Our Services
We offer comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, ADHD evaluation, and support for patients on medication-assisted treatment (such as Suboxone, Sublocade, or Vivitrol), available in person or by telepsychiatry.
Telepsychiatry is available only to Maryland residents. Virtual visits are conducted through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Addiction-related evaluations requiring vital signs or urine drug screening are conducted in person.
Not for emergencies. This Site and our telehealth services are not intended for medical or psychiatric emergencies. If you are experiencing a crisis, call 911, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or go to the nearest emergency room.
3. Appointments, Cancellations & Fees
Appointments are booked through our online patient portal. We request at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice (“no-show”), are subject to a $75 late-cancellation/no-show fee.
By scheduling an appointment, you authorize us to charge this fee, along with any applicable co-pay or self-pay balance, to the card or payment method on file.
We accept Aetna, BCBS of Maryland, Cigna, Maryland Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE East, and United Healthcare, as well as self-pay. Self-pay rates vary by service; contact our office for current pricing. Prescriptions are written to last until your next scheduled appointment; urgent refill requests are typically processed within 48 hours.

Content on this Site, including blog posts, is provided for general informational purposes only and is not medical advice. It is not a substitute for a professional evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment, and does not create a provider-patient relationship. A provider-patient relationship begins only once you have completed intake and been accepted as a patient of our practice.

5. Acceptable Use, Intellectual Property & Third-Party Services
You agree to use this Site, our contact forms, and our chat widget lawfully and only for their intended purpose (such as requesting information or an appointment). You agree not to submit false information, attempt to access non-public areas of the Site, or interfere with its operation.
All text, graphics, logos, and other content on the Site are owned by VIPsychiatry or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Appointment booking is handled through OptiMantra, a third-party patient portal, which has its own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party site linked from ours.
6. Liability, Governing Law, Changes & Contact
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VIPsychiatry is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We may update these Terms from time to time; the “last updated” date below reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
